October 2017 – DET Forum Mongolian conducted 100 DET sessions
The DET started from January this year exceeded 3000 Participants with 100 session. This was achieved in October. Once the environment is in place and discrimination is resolved, we can eliminate obstacles. In order to achieve this, I also do DET for administrative, school and enterprise.

7th September, 2017 – Installing a parking space for people with disabilities in the Chingeltei District Labor Welfare Service Division
Mr. Boloroo and Mr. Bordlbaatar conducted DET for 33 staff of the Labor Welfare Service Division of Chingeltei District. A couple of weeks later, “Improvement of parking space for persons with disabilities” which is one of improvement measures was realized. It was happy news for people with disabilities who had trouble with parking so far. The budget was limited but it was an achievement of the staff of the Labor Welfare Service Division who enthusiastically worked on creating a friendly city.

31st August, 2017 – Improve access in Bayanzurf District No. 27th sub street’s governor office
The project members visited the 27th Hollow (office) in Bayanzurph Ward. We conducted DET to this hollow in April. It is hollow which becomes an example which practiced “action list” created by training. “Because we have no budget, we did our own handrail installation and ramp repair,” a staff in charge of disability shared with us. Among them, hospitals in the hollow facility are eager to create a friendly environment not only for persons with disabilities, such as flattening the entrance doors to make it easier for wheelchairs to pass through, or changing the reception counter to a lower table I was working on it. Sub street Governor Batdelgel (the second from the right) said, “It is my dream to create an environment that is easy for everyone to use. I am working with disabled officials in the Office. I am keen to further improve access of this popular office.”

30th August, 2017 – Establishment of DET Forum Mongolia
Facilitators of DET gathered at the project office to discussion the registration of a DET organization The purpose was to organize the structure of the organization so that it can operate independently as an NGO. As a result of intense discussion, five governing board, three auditors, chairman and vice chairman were decided. Mr. Enkhnyam was elected as the first president. “DET Forum Mongol” will start moving toward establishment, such as creating a draft rule of the organization from now on.

4th August, 2017 – DET for USAID
We conducted DET at the USAID program “World Learning Leaders Advancing Democracy Mongolia”. This program is leadership training for fostering young Mongolian human resources, poverty reduction and environmental conservation. We are planning and implementing projects with various themes such as all. In this issue, 30 people from 16 prefectures participated, including Bayan Ulgye and Bayanhongor Province.
This is the second collaboration with USAID. It was decided to carry out in the series with popularity of the first time. Every time in the first half of the program, we will do DET to think about “disability” and aim for participants to include “consideration for diversity” in the project to be launched in the future. This time, Mr. Lamb Jab is in charge of the main facilitator. Because he was doing DET many times at independent living center, it was a masterpiece presentation. Mrs, Enkhnyam.B Gerelsezzeg, Mendbayar , Mr. Temmlen also supported the main and supported the goal of the training by entering the group.

Ms. Teruya Emi from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ms.Misheel conducted disability equality training (DET) at the Institute of Education for 35 participants from the district.

28th April, 2017 – DET for “World Learning Leaders Advancing Democracy Mongolia
Mrs. Enkhnyam and Mrs. Gereltsetseg conducted workshop with with other donors.
On Friday, April 28, we conducted a Disability Equality Training (DET) at the USAID program “World Learning Leaders Advancing Democracy Mongolia”. This program is leadership training for developing young Mongolian human resources, the next line to plan and implement projects with various themes such as poverty reduction and environmental conservation.
Mrs. Enkhnyam, Mrs. Gerelsseg (physically handicapped) was the one who took the heavy responsibility of holding it for the first time with other donors. As a result of DET, concrete proposals such as “Adding disability items to the item of need investigation” from the project team of school support project, “Subtitle documentary being created” from the poverty reduction project team, etc. were issued . Mr. Gamberty (physically handicapped), Mr. Uyanga Saihan (cerebral palsy) also participated with group work support.

Mrs. Mendbayar and Ms. Teruya Emi from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) conducted a workshop for teachers and students from Mongolian State Rehabilitation and Training Center.

10th April to 24th April 2017 – DET at all 23 micro district (office) in Bayangol District
Since April 10, we have visited all 23 micro district in the ward for two consecutive weeks, and conducted disability equality training (DET) for staff and hospital staff etc. There are about 400 participants in all.
People aiming for “Bayangol District” to “a friendly area for everyone”. Four people in charge of the facilitator were Mr.Luhamjab (physically handicapped), Mr.Temuulen (cerebral palsy), Mrs. Enkhnyam, Mrs.Gereltsetseg (physically handicapped) . Participants found out the barriers such as the entrance of the entrance to the entrance to the micro districts and the reception height and were able to come out oneself. “Ms. Uyanga Saihan,Ms.Misheel (cerebral palsy) also participated with group work support.

Mrs. B.Enkhnyam and Mrs. Boloroo conducted DET for 20 participants (Governor, Managers and staff). Mrs. Boloroo also participated with group work support. After the workshop, they started changing their office accessible facility with low cost because they do not have enough money and space. And also that building is very old so can not make better changes. And also they said that still so much to do for better. So we are very glad that results start coming from our hard work.
